You Hate Me, I Too Hate Me (I Hate Myself & So Should You) - DEMO

The first single released

This was the first song under the name "The Verbal Mind", and was the first to end up on a streaming service. As more straightforward and pop punky the song is, the similar style of the song can still be heavily found in later releases.

"The song is about hating yourself because everyone else makes you feel like you should hate yourself, to only realize you don't hate yourself, but was brainwashed by others who were beating you down"

(also the cover had a alternate cover, but was more disliked upon because it was a AI album cover)

Fatigue

A salvaged combination of demos

Fatigue was released a month or two after You Hate Me. It was a far more different release, considering that it was based on ambient tracks from previous musical attempts. Sections of previous scrapped songs were salvaged and frankensteined together to form a different feeling to the rest of the discography

I'll Never Understand/Fandango

First of the new style

While Fandango truly existed only to hold over for a better release, this was the first time seeing a change in the style of music. It has more of a cabaret like electronic punk style, while keeping the same dry angst that You Hate Me has. Then there's Fandango...

Fandango is what it's called. A mellow track planned to be released on the earliest version of DOWNWARDS. However, was very hard to match with the other songs, as it was a buzzkiller, and didn't fit the vibe like the songs you see later on. It stays as a B-side for the album now

Less Than Better

"The song that truly changed DOWNWARDS"

So, everyone would probably think I'll Never Understand changed the sound of DOWNWARDS. However, this song was what solidified the initial sound of the album. It was also what replaced Fandango, as Fandango lacked in the upbeat melancholic sound the rest of the mellow songs did on the final album's release

The Halfway EP

"The first EP"

The EP here was released to hold over for the album, and was the final thing released before DOWNWARDS. It features cleaner renditions of previously released tracks, as well as two new ones
(False Mask [The Secondhand Backstabber], Lament), and ironic joke tracks (The Sneezing, and Less Than Better - Nightcore)

DOWNWARDS; INTO THE RABBIT HOLE

"The 1st album has finally released"

The first album had finally released in the mid-summer of 2023. The album includes criticisms of common types of personalities.

The album was first meant to be a concept album, but slowly overtime became more of a collection of songs with similar topics.

(Also, the song "eat me." is referring to the YouTube comments of I'll Never Understand, on how absolutely crunchy and scrumptious the song sounds. So, I made this song even crunchier)
